LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR FAITH COMMUNITY
We strive to glorify God as much as we can by combining our talents and passions for His purposes. Within the church, we believe God has called us all to take time to both grow and serve, and our leadership will always aim to encourage and facilitate that for all who call NUBF their home church.
Our men’s ministry has a weekly Bible study, every Wednesday from 6:30-8 pm. They are in charge of our firewood ministry as well, have an annual camp out in June, and have multiple people plugged in to other various ministries.
Women’s ministry has weekly Bible studies on Wednesday night from 6:30-8, and on Thursday morning from 10-11:30. They put on an annual raffle and dinner, do the majority of set up and staffing for 2 large yard sales each year, and put on an annual tea in the fall. They put on a women’s retreat off-site each May.
Youth Group meets each Wednesday from 6-8:30 for 5th-12th graders. They have occasional events and service projects throughout the year both on and off campus.
Children’s ministry puts on 2 main events each year, VBS and Harvest Carnival, with occasional smaller events scattered throughout. We have an amazing core group of Sunday School teachers that teach each Sunday during the sermon time.
We have multiple elders and other church members that are integral parts of local organizations that we support. It is also important to us to be serving within our own community, and we have worked to develop strong relationships within our school system, and always keep an eye out for other needs we may be able to help with.
We believe God calls us to find ways to support ministries around the world, and we take that very seriously as well. We have a senders team in charge of staying in close connection with our various mission partners, always find ways to encourage them, and recognizing any important needs
