About

Breeze of Grace Ministries seeks to strengthen existing churches and plant new ones in the Yumbe District of Northern Uganda. The ministry pursues this mission through evangelistic outreach in schools, health centers, and marketplaces, as well as conferences designed to disciple children, youth, women, and church leaders.

Meet the Leader: Onduga Charles

I am from the Aringa tribe and was born into a family of six children. When I was one year old, my father was killed by unknown gunmen. This tragedy left our family in a desperate situation. Life became very difficult – we struggled to attend school, lacked proper food, and were often taken advantage of by people in our community who oppressed and persecuted us. Under this continual hardship, my older brother lost hope and eventually converted to Islam.

When I was about 17 years old, I placed my faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for my salvation. Jesus gave me hope and a new identity. As God’s Word says in John 1:12, God became my Father. Though I never knew what it was like to relate to an earthly father, my Heavenly Father showed me what it truly means to have one. In Him, I found a Father who does not die, who is never defeated, who loves unconditionally, and who corrects out of love. Jesus connected me with people who discipled me and helped me grow in my walk with the Lord. My life was restored, and I found true meaning.

As I came to understand that life without Jesus is empty, my Father God placed a deep burden on my heart for the lost. I committed myself to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ so that others could be reconciled to God and discover a new identity in Him. Because this burden comes from God, I am fully committed to reaching sinners with the Good News, no matter the cost. This calling led me to establish Breeze of Grace Ministries, where I have mobilized a team to reach others with the gospel.
